Weekend Plans?
Posted by William under Uncategorized
Anybody doing anything interesting this weekend? I will probably spend the majority of the weekend studying. I was thinking about catching a movie, but I don’t know of anything interesting out. Anybody seen anything good recently? I have The Departed on DVD. I may watch in the apartment complex theater room.

I don’t know how you feel about suspense films, but MSN is promoting ‘Zodiac’ today.
Peanut is turning 5 tomorrow, so we’ll have a party for her. She loves parties, friends and presents so it should be a great day for her. I’m also doing homework and will maybe celebrate catching up on tests and assignments by watching ‘The Gospel’ with my hubby.

Wow, five already? Are you going to be sharing pictures from the party with us?

Nikki,
Please plan to take pictures and consider a Flickr account or you will get harassed by your cousin indefinitely
I hope you are not too exhausted after a day with five year olds, but I am sure it will be an enjoyable time!

I don’t harass people about getting flickr accounts any more. Kyllan told me I wasn’t allowed to.

Well, umm, William I think you will harass me about what I’m about to write.
The party was great. I got a new role of film *gasp here, I still use film* And put it into our cheap little $12 camera because our nice SLR film camera is broken and my husband doesn’t want to buy a digital until we can afford a digital SLR. Well, the cheap little $12 camera broke just minutes before her party was supposed to start. I had to try really hard not to cry about it. Seriously. So we took ONE picture with our PHONE and got some more of it on video. I’m pretty upset about it. I like pictures. And so does Peanut.
I’d love to have a Flickr account and share pictures, but I don’t have a digital camera. *gasp, again*

Nikki, I am really sorry to hear that. You really need to convince your husband to get a point and shoot digital camera. By the time you’ll get a digital SLR the kids will be grown. Just look at all of the laughs we had going through pictures at Granny’s house. That, and your daughter’s birthday party, should be enough to get your point across. There will always be a more expensive and nicer model out, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t something cheaper that will do the job. Besides, you have a lot of family that would like to see pictures.

All I did was study
oh yeah, and I ate and slept too…

I didn’t take much convincing. We have begun our search for a nice point and shoot digital!
It helps to have big brown eyes.
