On Friday, May 12th, the slab pour took place making me one excited person! I watched the process for about 2 hours and it was very interesting and educational to observe. I was also able to meet a few new neighbors and talk with a few others I had already met. The slab will dry over the weekend, and they should be set to frame next week. So… the excitement begins and the house starts to take form. Check out my flickr site for more photos!
Congratulations! This is a huge and exciting step. I wish you the best…but you must have a THEATER ROOM! It’s just
a necessity.
#6, you can thank me for this plug later.
Thanks Jamaal! Sorry… no theater room in this house :-(, but it will be a must when
we finally settle down in a place we think we will stay for a while. The good news for
William is that the family room is being wired for surround sound, so that will have to
double as the theater room for now.
#7 always has my back. I hope Kyllan realizes that she cannot hang pictures on the walls of the house. With no neighbors to complain, the bass is going all the way up. The longer it takes to get a home theater room, the more toys that are going to go in it(I’m thinking a floating floor and celling.)
