WFU v. FSU

At 8pm eastern on Saturday, William and I will have our eyes glued to ABC for three hours. It is probably a good thing that William is in Denver and I am in Dallas, otherwise things may get ugly. Florida State will be hosting Wake Forest in Tallahassee for what will be a crucial game for both teams. Wake Forest is trying to stay on top of the ACC’s Atlantic Coast Division with a win on Saturday. They are currently tied with Maryland for first, which if they can stay in the lead will allow them to play in the ACC Championship game. Wake Forest is 8-1 for the first time since 1944 and with a win on Saturday would make them 9-1 for the first time ever! Although Florida State is having a rough year and are currently not ranked, Wake Forest is the underdog for Saturday and FSU is looking to become bowl eligible. Wake has not won in Tallahassee since 1959 (17 straight games). So… the deacons will continue to attempt to make history, but it will not be easy. I just hope I am the one smiling at the end of the night 🙂
GO DEACS!!!

  1. Oh here’s to Wake Forest
    A glass of the finest
red ruddy rhenish filled up to brim!
(If you are confused… those are the first lines of the Wake Forest fight song)

  2. What about that O-State Game, I hope Wake wins, makes history.

Ok also I have a general question. Who knocked down the world trade towers?

Have you guys saw some of the conspericy theorist stuff out there?

    In particular This one:
    Loose Change 2nd Edition

  3. You mean the Loose Change movie where the producers explain the inaccuracies and errors as, “We know there are errors in the documentary, and we’ve actually left them in there so that people discredit us and do the research for themselves?”

  4. Brian,
I have not seen the movie, and there are always conspiracy therorists when something bad happens, but I think most of them are just that… theories. I sure hope that innocent lives are not lost for the sake of politics, greed, money, etc.

Are you and Stephanie going to Cleveland for Thanksgiving?
