So, once again, nothing is really happening. I finished the miniseries and first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica. The third season is coming out on DVD later this year. I am really looking forward to visiting Kyllan next week. This is probably the longest the two of us have gone without seeing each other. We don’t have any special plans for the fourth, but we have some time to figure something out. What are you guys doing for the 4th?

Anybody planning to wait in line tomorrow to blow $500 on an i Phone? I think it is going to be a huge flop. With no 3G and no compatibility with Microsoft exchange sever, business users won’t buy it and the young “hip” crowd that Apple usually markets to can’t afford it. Hell, my Samsung blackjack, which I love, sells for $75. One of those and an 80GB iPod together is cheaper than a 4GB iPhone. Don’t get me wrong, it will sell out on Friday. But, I don’t think Apple will sell many of these after the first month. (Beware of products released on Friday after the stock market closes.)

The weather is finally getting nice in Denver and I am thinking of buying a bike. I know, I know, William hates the outdoors. I have been exercising pretty regularly the past few months and need something to change up the routine. I had no idea how expensive bikes are and am a little hesitant to spend the money. We will see what happens.

  1. For the 4th I’ll be going up to Elk Grove to visit my family since I didn’t get a chance to see my lil bro and sis after boards. We’re takin a family vacation to Yosemite, so it’ll be a different type of trip for us. I’m excited tho 🙂

  2. Gonna have to disagree with you on the iphone dude. I know you are anti-mac (yes Neil filled me in) but I think the iphone is gonna be the next big thing in phone designs as far as the touchscreen and all the other features. As far as the young hip crowd, trust me they’ll find a way, they found ways to get xbox360’s and ps3’s. I even see them walking around with treos that they don’t know how to use. The coolness factor alone is a big draw for a lot of people…shoot i’d be getting too if I was with AT&T. Now the fact that you have to be with AT&T to get one will probably hinder their sales a bit but we’ll see.

  3. I’ll be packing to move and a few days later going to a 100th b-day party for my husband’s grandmother. Have a great visit with Kyllan.

  4. Dare, I would list out all of the reasons I think the iPhone will be the PS3 of phones, but I’ll just let the fact that every Apple store in the country still has iPhones in stock speak for itself (other than the flagship stores, each store received 20-40).
