More Excitement Ahead

Sorry for the lack of post. Our lives have been pretty boring busy recently. This week looks like it will be much more interesting. Thursday will be the first time Kyllan and I will see each other since I returned to Denver. We will be meeting in Jamaica for the wedding of our good friends Jamaal and Maya. My parents will also be attending.

Sunday was the first snow fall of the season. I hate snow, so I am sure that you will be hearing several complaints in the coming months.

  1. I grew up in Cleveland and I still pray for a warn winter. Last year it didn’t snow until January. We need to move back to Texas.

  2. Sandra, you could also consider moving to Florida. The expected high today in Jacksonville is 90 degrees. I think this is why William hates snow.

  3. Mom…we all second the motion to move back to Texas.
William, Drew asked the other day where you were. I said Colorado. He asked what you were doing there. I told him that you were in school. He asked if you were in pre-school too! Then he asked if he could get on the airplane to see you. I told him yes. So in your spare time you can enjoy the snow that you hate so much by taking your nephew sledding. You can re-enact your favorite movie A Christmas Story and stick your tongues on the nearest ice-laden telephone pole. Come on….you know that would be fun!

  4. Florida did spoil me.

Kim, Drew can come visit me anytime he wants. Don’t worry, we won’t stick our tongues on any flag poles. We will be shooting our official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and ‘this thing’ which tells time.

  5. No shooting please!

Betty, Florida sounds wonderful. However, living in Texas with Drew, Kim, Rob, Kyllan and William would be better.

Also, I really love Cleveland in the fall. The leaves on the trees are simply beautiful. To see God’s beauty in the colors of the leaves is priceless. Our trees around the house have leaves that are red, several shades of orange and golden yellow. This will all be gone in a couple of weeks. Then SNOW!
