{"id":1314,"date":"2011-05-03T09:03:12","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T15:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/codyreport.com\/blog\/?p=1314"},"modified":"2011-05-03T23:10:52","modified_gmt":"2011-05-04T05:10:52","slug":"joyful-occasion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/codyreport.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/03\/joyful-occasion\/","title":{"rendered":"Joyful Occasion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kyllan and I were in Jacksonville this past weekend to help my mother celebrate 5 years of <a title=\"Original Post\" href=\"http:\/\/codyreport.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/17\/treatment\/\" target=\"_blank\">cancer survival<\/a>. My mother enjoys 3 things in life: family, friends and dancing, and that is exactly how she decided to mark the occasion. Everyone in attendance at the &#8220;Pink Party&#8221; was someone that reached out to her or provided solace while she was receiving treatment. Food, live music, champagne toast, a dance tribute by two little kids (making an <a title=\"Wedding Flashback\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/williamcody\/1397745861\/in\/set-72157602051336376\" target=\"_blank\">encore<\/a> performance from the wedding) and something called the &#8220;pink ribbon dance,&#8221; which I am pretty sure was a Betty original, made it an event to be remembered. (There was a photographer at the event, so I didn&#8217;t capture everything.
