What new shows are you guys excited about? <a title=\"Official Page\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nbc.com\/Studio_60_on_the_Sunset_Strip\/\"><em>Studio 60: Sunset Strip<\/em><\/a> and <a title=\"Official Page\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cbs.com\/primetime\/jericho\/\"><em>Jericho<\/em><\/a> seem to be getting the most hype. Kyllan was not impressed with the premier of <em>Studio<\/em> last night. I thought it was just okay. I probably check out <a title=\"Official PAge\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nbc.com\/NBC_First_Look\/Heroes\/\"><em>Heroes<\/em><\/a> and <a title=\"cheesy\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fridaynightlightstheseries.com\/\"><em>Friday Night Lights<\/em><\/a>. Of course the best show on television, <a title=\"Great Show\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Wire_%28TV_series%29\"><em>The Wire<\/em><\/a>, has returned for a 4<sup>th<\/sup> season. I\u2019ll be watching <a title=\"another favorite\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0364845\/\"><em>NCIS<\/em><\/a> tonight. Kyllan likes <a title=\"Silly Show\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0413573\/\"><em>Grey&#8217;s Anatomy<\/em><\/a>. They get points for having multiple positive black characters, one whose back story includes attending Tulane for medical school, but I still don&#8217;t care for it&#8230; Can you think of another show with more than one intelligent black character? (Currently on the air, so the <em>Cosby Show<\/em> doesn&#8217;t count.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, the new television season is upon us.
